ATMOsphere America 2014 brought the HVACR industry's biggest players to San Francisco to discuss everything cool. Guests viewed presentations by leading cooling companies and end users such as Whole Foods Market, Alfa Laval and Danfoss, as well as engaging in networking opportunities in between.
Azane's Business Development Manager Derek Hamilton presented during the Industrial Refrigeration & Other Applications panel, with a presentation on natural refrigerants entitled "Low Charge Ammonia - The Natural Replacement for R22". To follow up on this, Azane caught up with engineer Timothy Gwyn of DC Engineering, and Greenpeace International's senior consultant Janos Maté to find out their thoughts on the R22 phase out and how they think it will affect the industry and the climate.
